What PlayerIQ is
PlayerIQ is a player-development platform for football clubs, available as a web service and an iOS app. Each club runs its own PlayerIQ environment and decides who gets an account. The club is the data controller for its players' and staff's data; LNDIN Networks AB (the maker of PlayerIQ) processes the data on the club's behalf to provide the service.
Data we process
Account data — name, username, e-mail address and role, created by the club when it invites you.
Football development data — the content of the service: goals and development areas, coach feedback, training attendance and training load (including GPS data where the club uses tracking vests), wellness and effort (RPE) form answers, injury notes, match data, video clips and messages between you and your coaches. This data is entered by club staff or by you.
Technical data — login timestamps and session cookies needed to keep you signed in. If you enable notifications in the iOS app, the device's push token is stored and used solely to deliver notifications through Apple's push service (APNs).
What we do not do
PlayerIQ contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Cookies are used only for signing in — there are no advertising or third-party cookies.
Where data is stored
All data is stored on servers within the EU. Notifications are delivered via Apple's APNs, which transports the notification content to your device.
Who can see your data
Only people in your own club, according to the roles and visibility settings the club configures — for example, players see their own profile while coaches see the players in their teams.
Young players
PlayerIQ is used by youth academies, so many users are minors. Accounts are created and managed by the club, which is responsible for informing players and guardians and for the legal basis of the processing.
Retention and your rights
Data is kept for as long as your account exists with your club. You can ask your club to correct or delete your data at any time; you can also contact us directly at info@playeriq.se. When an account is removed, its personal data is deleted from the club's environment.
